February 18 – Newton (NEW) has officially rebranded to AB, with HTX, MEXC, and 4E successfully completing the $NEW → $AB ticker change. This milestone signifies a new phase for the AB ecosystem, driving further decentralization, innovation, and global expansion.
Following the rebranding, trading, deposits, and withdrawals on these exchanges have now transitioned to AB, with users' balances remaining unchanged and no action required. Meanwhile, NewSwap, NewMall, Andverse, and NewBridge continue to operate normally within the AB ecosystem. To ensure a smooth user transition, NewPay wallet will temporarily continue displaying NEW, which will be updated to AB in an upcoming upgrade.
According to AB DAO, the ecosystem is set to integrate more applications, further expanding AB token’s real-world utility and driving ecosystem development.
